A Detroit-born, Les began his journey as a devoted pianist before mastering saxophone, bass, drums, and guitar. Early gigs in Detroit clubs led him to Los Angeles, where he collaborated with the legendary Holland-Dozier-Holland team.

Les produced icons including Earth, Wind & Fire, Patti LaBelle, Steve Perry, and Louie Louie, to name a few.

Les transitioned into composing for film and television, creating enduring themes for America’s Next Top Model and Jimmy Kimmel Live! Today, he continues crafting emotionally rich songs and soundscapes for both major and independent productions.
